Terrarium Lab
Overview
This terrarium lab was very interesting. It was fun to see everything interacting in interesting ways with each other, and in our situation, benefiting each other.
In this lab our whole objective was observation. We put together our terrariums so that we could insert live species and record how they do and how they are liking the habitat. We could make changes to our terrarium to suit the needs of the animals and plants we had living in the terrarium.

Observations
We chose to put in some moss and an annual plant. The moss was extremely useful because it was very good at retaining moisture from the water we put in the terrarium. This allowed water to remain within the terrarium for longer, and also contributed in the creation of a dank atmosphere within the tank. The humid system created by the moss left enough moisture in the tank to only need to water it a couple of times. Because annuals don't need much water to thrive, this was perfect. During this lab, we saw small signs of growth, but not enough to be measurable.
Materials
For this lab we needed a variety of materials. Some came from home and some were supplied for us by the classroom. Here is our materials list for my group's specific habitat.

Conclusion
Overall, the terrarium lab was a very education and fun experience. I believe that it could be benefited by putting the whole class together to work on one larger terrarium, with animals from all levels of the ecosystem spectrum within the class' terrarium.
